Scheduled pool maintenance in Dubai
A pool stays clear when the same checks happen at a steady rhythm. Our scheduled visits test and balance the water, clean the pool and look over the equipment, so small issues are caught while they are still small.

Dubai is hard on pools. Water temperatures climb above thirty degrees in summer, fine dust settles on the surface every day, and evaporation concentrates whatever is already dissolved in the water. Chlorine is used up quickly in the heat and sunlight, and a pool that looked perfect on Saturday can be cloudy by Wednesday if nobody is watching it.
Scheduled maintenance replaces guesswork with routine. Each visit follows the same sequence, the readings are written down, and changes in the water or the equipment show up as trends rather than surprises. Visit frequency is agreed with you based on how the pool is used, the season and whether it sits under trees or in open sun.
What happens on a maintenance visit
Water testing
Free and combined chlorine (or salt level on salt systems), pH, total alkalinity and, at intervals, calcium hardness and stabiliser.
Chemical balancing
Measured additions to bring each reading back into range, recorded so the next visit starts from known values.
Surface and walls
Skimming debris, brushing walls, steps and waterline, and clearing skimmer and pump baskets.
Floor cleaning
Vacuuming settled dust and debris, or checking the automatic cleaner is covering the whole floor.
Filter care
Backwashing or cleaning the filter when its pressure shows it is loaded, rather than on a fixed guess.
Equipment check
A look at pump noise, leaks around the plant, filter pressure, chlorinator output, heater or chiller operation and timers.
How the service is set up
- 01
First visit
We inspect the pool and plant, test the water, and note anything that needs correcting before a routine can start.
- 02
Bring it into balance
If the water or equipment needs work first, we agree that separately and do it before scheduled visits begin.
- 03
Agree the rhythm
Visit frequency and day are set with you, and adjusted between summer and winter.
- 04
Record every visit
Readings, chemicals added and observations are recorded and shared with you after each visit.
What affects how often a pool needs a visit
Season
Warm water and long sunny days increase chlorine demand and algae risk. Summer usually needs closer attention than winter.
Use
More swimmers bring more sunscreen, sweat and organic load, all of which consume sanitiser.
Surroundings
Trees, planting and open desert edges add leaves, pollen and sand that filters and baskets must deal with.
Equipment
A well-sized filter and pump running long enough each day make every other part of maintenance easier.
Common questions
How often should a villa pool be serviced in Dubai?
Most pools in regular use need attention at least weekly, and more in the hottest months or after dust storms. We recommend a frequency after seeing the pool, its surroundings and how it is used.
Do I need to be at home for the visits?
No, as long as there is safe access to the pool and plant room. Many owners leave access arranged and receive the visit record afterwards.
Can you look after salt-water pools?
Yes. Salt pools still need regular testing — salt level, pH and stabiliser in particular — and the chlorinator cell needs cleaning as scale builds up.
What if something is wrong with the equipment?
We note it on the visit record and explain what we found. Repairs are quoted and agreed with you before any work beyond the routine visit is carried out.
